Gym Help (click in this part of screen and use file print to print)
Background The Gym uses several 'sets' of exercises based on a simplified creativity model. Each 'set' is typically 10 quick exercises and is loaded via the top left buttons - Fuel, Freedom and Flexibility.

Each exercise is controlled by a Question, Hint and Solution button.

In addition, the drop down menus provide longer exercises


Serious Play play The Athlete trains. To develop your mental muscles, I believe the most effective learning method is to Play.

I ask you to hold back on your judging process at this point and avoid being 'put off' by this approach. The term 'Serious Play' is useful to differentiate it from child's play although they have similarities. See my rationale.


Timer
A timer is provided for your use to tell you when your time in the Gym is up. The default is set at 20 minutes. Set it here if you want to alter this at any time

Controls

These control buttons which load the relevant sets are shown top left:

  • Fuel
  • Flexibility
  • Freedom

  • Overview provides some detail of the exercises used
  • To exit the assessment area use the Map button
  • Help loads this document
