M1 Creativity Delivers Major Event for 300 at LogicaCMG business creativity and innovation training workshop at logicacmg

Fun and laughter filled the air recently when M1 Creativity delivered a creativity and innovation event for more than 300 LogicaCMG staff. LogicaCMG is a global professional services firm and its UK Energy and Utilities division broke away from normal corporate strategy presentations with an event designed to encourage creative and innovative behaviour.

These innovation events were a huge success within LogicaCMG and feedback from participants was very positive.
M1 Creativity worked with LogicaCMG to design a two hour workshop and then managed its delivery to large audiences in three UK locations. M1 Creativity sourced training materials, managed the logistics of delivering the same event on three consecutive days in different UK locations, and provided a team of facilitation staff.

LogicaCMG creativity and innovation event Participants warmed up by icing cakes which immediately challenged their preconceptions about corporate events and took them outside their comfort zone. It also served to illustrate that there was a wealth of creative talent in the room and started the participants thinking about the innovation process. This thinking was developed further when participants were challenged to create a snakes and ladders game of creativity and innovation in their organisation - using the snakes and ladders as a metaphor for inhibitors and enablers.

A generic snakes and ladders board provided the framework for the remainder of the workshop as participants explored three "squares" - posing challenges, perception, and breaking patterns. Each of these sessions mixed interactive hands-on exercises with theory and maintained a fast pace to maximise concentration.

The events were considered a huge success within LogicaCMG and feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive.
